Hello

I have a quick question. So my finance and I just submitted our application for him to sponsor as common-law. My study permit expires at the end of July, but I applied for a work permit along the sponsor application. From my calculations the work permit should be here in September.

My question is since my stuff permit expires at the end of July can I still travel to Vancouver in August? My fiance and I are planning to go there for a week or two.

There is no immigration to pass through for domestic travel within Canada, so what permits, visas, etc you hold is irrelevant. It's fine to travel anywhere inside Canada.

The sponsor will get the AOR. Check the May spreadsheet for timelines, I think it's currently taking more than a month to get AOR.
