Travel to Canada (eTA) with valid US visa in expired passport.
I read that eligible Filipinos can get a eTA for Canada if they have a valid US visa.

Assuming I have a valid US visa (B1/B2 - valid until mid 2025)) but it's in an expired passport - can I still get the Canada eTA?
Apparently it's fine to travel to the US with the elvalid visa and expired passport so I assume it's the same for Canada? Or do I need to apply for a Canada visa which may take weeks/months?
Has someone else been in a similar situation?
I already tried to contact the Canadian embassy but it's not possible to talk to someone directly. Already sent an email but not sure if those are read/answered.
