I've applied for citizenship a few backs and my application is under process now. However I need to go out of the country for a few months, does it make any problem is my application when I want to take an oath? The CIC website says I should let the CIC know if I'm going out of the country for more than 2 weeks, is that correct?

if u follow up the application no issues

i went out for 45 days after applying and came back to canada

You should let cic know if you are going for more than 2 weeks otherwise you may miss any correspondence from cic like additional document request, test/interview invite, oath invite etc. Also, intent to reside clause is there so make sure you adhere to that.
