Hello, Jeff again.

I am putting together my wife's application. On the document checklist (question 22) - Are we supposed to send my wife's passport right away? Is a photocopy OK?

Just a photocopy with the initial package. When the visa is ready to issue to visa, they will request the passport to be sent or dropped off to them.
