Hi guys i need help in that regards i dont know what should i do some people say to submit translation and originals some say translation and photocopies and the translation office said originals and the translation is all is needed,i want to ask members who all applied and recieved pr what did you submit???

Please submit both translated and original copy. I got rejection because case officer said that my marriage certificate is not original (i submitted translated one with notarised). However, that is the same certificate I used to sponsor my spouse moreover PNP approved my application based on that certificate. But this time i wasn't lucky.

So please please submit original and translated.

Why would you submit a copy if you have the original?

Scan the original and the translation.

You're scanning in PDFs. You are SHOWING CIC the originals via a scanner. You aren't posting them copies.

It's like me sending them a scan of my original passport and a certified copy. Why is a duplicate needed?

Because the instructions in the IRCC website are stupid.

" If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator.

If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translations; and
a certified photocopy of the original document."

Clear enough?

a certified photocopy of the original document By this you mean the scanned of the original document?

well, I also found the CIC instructions a bit confusing, concerning the certified copies. I asked some people who already got PPR and they just uploaded scans of the originals + translations.
I cannot say it is 100% correct, but i am gonna upload the following scans as one pdf file: original + copy + translation + translators statement. In case the file will exceed 4mb and compressing it makes the docs not legible, I will skip the copies.
