" If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator.

If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translations; and
a certified photocopy of the original document."

Clear enough?

Hi @DelPiero07 , if a translation has been accepted by OINP, is it possible to be rejected post ITA?
All my translations (By Ontario certified translator) come with a digital pack that contains:

1.Affidavit
2. Original document scan
3. Translation

Just worried after submit. Thanks!

He didn't put his stamp in photocopies to link what he translated from your native tongue to English?

Honestly I've seen people go through with what you provided but I've also seen rejections for minute details.

To be on the safe side, you can also submit the certified true copy as per CIC requirement. As I see it, for documents that needs translation, there must be four documents, namely:
1. Original document scan
2. Certified true copy - this is the one used by the translator, which has a stamp "certified true copy"
3. Translation
4. Affidavit of the translator

They didn't. I remember I asked that when submitting the OINP application, they told me it is fine they way they do it, and actually I didn't have any problem with it. They do it as a digital pack.

What i submitted is (same as in OINP)
1. Original document scan
2. Affidavit of the translator
3. Original scan by translator
4. Translation

#2,3 and 4 are together from the translator, and i just add the scan i made on the #1
