Translation affidavit requirements

Hi,
I would appreciate if someone with similar recent experience can help me. Thank you in advance.
I am applying for a citizenship with a family on paper (minor kid). We have stamps in passport that need to be translated. As it is not possible to find a certified translator from my home country language in Newfoundland, I am going to have passport stamps/notes translated by a community member who is proficient in both languages but isn't a translator by profession.
Q1. Is that acceptable as long as I also get affidavit with his translation?

We are 3 people with 4 passports and will apply together in Spring in the same envelope.
Q2. Is 1 affidavit enough in this case or do we need 3 or 4?

Apart from my home country language stamps, there is 1 visa to Turkey which has English text on it and 2 stamps with GIRIS (in) and CIKIS (out) in 2010. However not everything is well readable on these stamps. Those are in my expired passport which was already invalid when I 1st came to Canada in 2019 as I got a new passport.
Q3. Do I need to translate those 2 stamps as they are too old, and may even have trouble translation because of partially unreadable parts.

Q1. IRCC required a certified translator . An affidavit by a random person saying that the translations are accurate may not cut it. You may want to double check with IRCC or perhaps reach out to a translator who may view the original documents via zoom and finish the job via a scanned copy.

Q2. Ref Q1. Since each application follows their own trajectory, I would think an affidavit (if acceptable by IRCC) should be added to each application.

Q3. All non Eng/Fr stamps on all pages of all passports valid during your eligibility period must be translated even though some of the stamps may be outside the eligibility period. If one of your passports was not valid during your EP, you don't need to translate that. I had the Turkish stamps translated as well - even though the dates are ok, Cikis and Giris are not. The only reason I got Turkish done was because having come so far in the application process, I did not want anything to delay further for a few more $$$. I spent a mini fortune translating Arabic dates. Across two valid passports, the Arabic translation report ran into 25+ pages

I will double check with IRCC, but for the Q1 it says in their official guide (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-0002-application-canadian-citizenship-under-subsection-5-1-adults-18-years-older.html)

Translations may be done by:

• a person who is fluent in both languages (English or French, and the unofficial language), or
• a Canadian certified translator (a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada)
