Sorry to be asking this question, but I was getting mixed responses over the web, the VFS etc. The query: If a person holds a valid Canadian Visitor visa, and is planning to visit Canada this month for a few weeks, does that person require a transit Visa for Frankfurt. The itinerary is Delhi - Frankfurt on Lufthansa, layover of 2.5 hours, and then from the same terminal - Frankfurt to Toronto on Air Canada.
I am being overtly cautious because that person is my father and he will be travelling alone, and for the first time to Canada.
