We received your application for permanent residence on November 8, 2010.

We started processing your application on February 22, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

Why has nothing been done to our file in 2 years ?

It also looks like even though they have asked for our passports no decision has been made,so we could still be refused.

yeah since january my ECAS status still the same.

It also looks like even though they have asked for our passports no decision has been made,so we could still be refused.

The "Decision Made" status only appears after your visa has been stamped on the passport, or it just doesn't show.

If you are asked to submit your passport you are safe, because on the PPR email it says " We request your passport for the visa issuance. An immigrant visa shall be issued, if following an examination, an immigrant officer is satisfied ..."

Can anybody explain whats going on?

My file transferred from,
Buffalo to Ottawa
Ottawa to buffalo
Buffalo to Seattle.

Is there any body in same situation?
i read this post entirely. Most of the people submitted RCMP checks.
since i submitted my file in sept 2011 only with PCC nobody ask me any single document, Is that means my file is not in process yet?

i'm just sooo frustrated with how they let us wait like this..they should let buffalo know that they have backlogged so buffalo can stop transferring application to them until they cope up....

Hi guys, I received my passports with visa. It took Seattle 45 days to return the passports to us. So I think the email they say they have 3 weeks backlog makes sense.

Again, wish everyone good luck, don't worry, Seattle is just a bit slow but I didn't see anyone of my friends get rejected by Seattle. Tho long waiting, but happy ending for everyone. Myself I waited a long time as well, referring to my timeline.

Good to know, so finally u got ur passport back after 45 days . Now be ready for another wait & that is for the PR card it self ... ! As per my case it's been now 74 days, since they email me on Jan 19th , 2012 . that ur file transferred to Seattle but still waiting for passport request PPR, I don't know when but I guess another 40 to 50 days or even more never know ... ! Really frustrated ...

And don't worry, in my case it's 4 months and a half from my file got transferred to PPR. Just wait patiently and it will come. Good luck again!

My file got transferred to Seattle today. Timeline is on the left. Am I looking at another 4/5 months waiting? Also, if a PPR is issued, I'm living in BC so could I drive down to Seattle to sort everything out there?
