Transfer to another institution issue

Hi,
i got my study permit at poe 4 days ago but now i want to transfer to another university , as i applied paper based application should i be able to do it through myCIC account as i am not able to access my study permit through myCIC account in transfer from dli# when i enter all the information about my study permit it says ( not found ). is there any other way to notify cic about transfer ?

I also applied on paper and have to follow the same procedure? Doesn't it work if you applied on paper? Who do you talk to in this case?

yes, same here paper based applicate can not notify through myCIC , when yesterday i called the CIC call center they said that i not required to notify CIC under new rules

Well, could you provide me with the details of the call center? Also, I transferred my application through the MyCIC page, put in all my details, got it verified and put in my fresh details. It happened instantly. Was easy.

Which CIC call center did you call up?

That is not a big issue now. Coz the new study permit they issue to students requires you to transfer or change school anytime. It is also stated there unlike the previous study permit they issue to students.

I got study permit from CIC for lambton college. I want to change college from lambton (september intake) to manitoba college. But the manitoba college starts from november.

1. can i drop the course from lambton college in september and join in manitoba college which starts from november

please suggest me

thats kind of risk decision as you can't stay on study permit without enrolling full time for more than 3 months. So do your maths n if its less then three months then you can transfer. But before that you making sure that your manitoba's college admission ready. btw which college is that in Manitoba which starts in November ..out of curiosity

That's weird that ur study permit shows only lambton college... My study permit shows that all post secondary school. So, I just trasnfered to other college by mycic.

I applied by paper and also changed DLI via new mycic creation and it successfully worked. I think you may be not provide the correct information, so it is not found.
