Transcript from VTU to WES

Hi,
Can you confirm if the COPY of the degree certificate needs to be signed and sealed by the University or just a simple copy of the certificate would do ?
I have sent the official transcripts via VTU, and WES has received them, but now they are waiting for the degree certificate copy. I am not sure if this transcripts + certificate option is available in VTU. I am not sure if it is the same as Attestation of marksheets/other documents option,if anyone can confirm here.
Anyways, now I have 2 options, one to send the direct copy (which will be cheaper and faster) or send it via the attestation option in VTU. Please help.

Could you please let me know how much time it took for the transcripts to reach WES from VTU? Was there any tracking number provided?

Suggestion: Before following the below steps, please inquire.

They said:
1. Request for the transcripts by filling up the form here.
2. Pay the required fee for the transcript, if applicable.
3. Pay Postal charges (Rs.1500/-). Mandatory to directly post to WES. (Make sure you have WES Reference Number)
4. Mention the WES delivery address in the FORM (step 1) . Also, attach the WES Request Form duly filled, Payment Receipts.You can also attach your degree certificate to save on courier.
And send them to :
The Registrar(Evaluation)

Belagavi : 590018

(You are DONE)
5. In case you already have transcripts received from University, Write an application to Registrar Evaluation requesting to post the documents directly to WES.

Currently, i have the,
1. Degree certificate and all 8 semesters marks cards with me since i passed out almost 4 years ago. I also have received the
2. WES reference number and 'Academic records request form'.

In your post, point No. 6 stated to ''Send application, filled and signed WES Request Form, degree certificate, Official transcripts''

I have the filled and signed 1. WES request form, 2. degree certificate, and 3. all sem transcripts(marks cards).

Could you please provide some details on the 'application' to be sent to Registrar Evaluation to be sent to WES. As i am not within travelling distance of VTU, Belgaum.

1) The online payment confirmation details and the filled VTU form - 13
2) Do we need to send all semester marks sheet/ provisional certificates too? If not then VTU will sent those on behalf of us ? or we need to send to WES Canada?

I am working Canada under work visa . I heard that transcripts from VTU to WES from online taking more than 3 months. Can i send application with my husband and get the transcript and write From : VTU address and to to WES and courier through DHL. any idea will they accept this as per the new rules ?

Since i am in Canada , my application can be scanned and sent to my husband and with authorization letter from me to get the transcript will they issue the transcript to my husband?

Please suggest some idea , i am really stuck in transcript process. I want to process asap.

Hi. I am in the same confusion state. I live in Qatar. I have sent to VTU 3 weeks back the color copy of my degree certificate with WES number written on it along with Transcript Application+ Payment Receipt+ WES Registration form and Letter to VTU Registrar and I had paid 2000 ( 500 for Transcript + 1500 for Postal Charges to WES). Now after calling multiple times, a lady in VTU picked the call and saying that Degree Certificate should be attested by Registrar or else WES will reject. Not only that I have to pay Rs 1800 again (300 for Attestation and 1500 again for postal charges to WES) whereas my Transcript is still in VTU reached 2 days back. Still didn't dispatch. I don't think its reasonable. Can anyone confirm whether attestation on Degree Certificate is Mandatory? If yes, I should act quickly. Thank you.

I recently followed this procedure to send documents from VTU directly to WES. they received the documents but mentioned that "the documents are not accepted as they are not sent directly from university". What do I do in such a case. It already took me 2 months to reach this stage.

I am from VTU - MBA Candidate, I done my transcription, but my status is hold and WES saying is VTU has to be verify your documents, so I paid again to VTU for verification fees and wrote a letter to them, requested to verify the WES document.

Could you please let me know is anyone facing a problem like this?

I am in the same situation, I received an email mentioning that they have send email and mail communication to the University to verify the documents. I just received it a couple of days back, Is there a way we can ask the University to respond to the email.

Regarding Step-4: is it mandatory to attach WES Request form while sending it to VTU? I'm asking this because it is mentioned in the second page of the Application Request Form (Document Submission Checklist) that attaching it is optional. And I've submitted my documents without that to VTU. So, the information provided here and the one provided in the WES Form seem to be contradicting, which is leaving me directionless. I've tried contacting the VTU but they haven't answered my calls.

Any clarity regarding this could be of great help.

Can someone answer the below questions based on your recent finding,

1. Latest procedure to get the transcript from VTU Bangalore office.

2. Is it better to pay 1500 Rs postal charges to VTU or collect transcripts and we ourselves send them to WES. Which will be faster and trackable easily?

3. Do we have to send just transcripts from VTU to WES or transcripts and our photocopies of mark sheet to WES

4. What is the postal address while paying the fee online? is it our postal address ot WES address if we want to send directly from VTU to WES by paying 1500/- ?

5. How long will it take for the below scenarios?

A. Pay 1500/- postal fee and 500/- and wait for the transcript to reach WES
B. Pay 500/- fee and collect transcripts personally and courier them to WES address
