Awesome news that AOR's are showing up quite soon after cc's being charged.

Just out of interest, what email address does the AOR email come from? I might add it to my address book, so it doesn't drop into my spam box!

Mine was charged $550, but I didn't sign to pay for my right of residency fee, so I'll have to do that later. You don't need to pay for that until later, although I hear you can pay for it up front if you want.

Thanks Bradders .. all the best

Hi bradders,
There were two e-mails. One is “Do-not-reply” and the other one is subjected “Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (PNP)”. I am not sure if it is ok to put their e-mail address on here so I just say it came from xxx@cic.gc.ca.
The message says, “your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of IRPA.
Now I really feel I am standing on the starting line of the Marathon.
Hope you get them soon.

Thanks, that's perfect. I agree that posting the whole email address isn't wise, I was just after the domain name anyway so thanks!

I sent my application on aug 31 and received by CIO on Sep 12.

My credit card was charged for $1262.76. There are two applicants in my application (myself and wife). I don't remember how much application fees is, but does this look correct amount?

CIO Sydney received file: on September 7th, 2012

It maybe because of conversion between currency, plus some handling fees or transferring fees charged by your credit card company. That is my guess.

do you have a canadian credit card or from different country. The fees for two people suppose to be $1100 CAD.
the only reason could be the exchange rate.

Nope, still nothing! Not to worry though, it should be arriving by the end of this week I reckon! Based on what everyone else has been saying, anyway!

My CC was charged on the 25th, so you might get yours just before mine! Good luck!

I think you may be correct. I have a U.S credit card.

So my credit is charged meaning my application is complete - is this correct? Last thing I want is application getting returned due to missing or incorrect document.

Hi All,
Called several physician's offices to set up medical exam appointment. What I learned was that they do not do the exam everyday and the fee is varies from office to office ($100 to 175 per person). If you have a provincial health card, it would help to reduce the cost of X-ray and blood work which you have to take at hospital (costs around $280 per person with no card, depends on province). There are 4 people in my family so it helps me a lot! My local physician is not available until the first week of December so I am going to out-of-province.
ECAS, I was not able to access with my number for the first couple of days but now it works fine.
