Tracking PNP September 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

I got my medical exam done. It was very simple and completed in about 3 hours.
My doctor told me his client results are forwarded to Ottawa every Friday so I would hear from them in December if something is questionable in my results.

Why did it take 3 hours? It sounds very long to me. I am trying to figure out if i will make it back to work after I am done with the medical.

The doctor told me that the result will be going to Ottawa and I guess my file processing will also be in CPP-ottawa as I am already in Canada and I indicated visa office as CPP-ottawa so i am assuming it will be going to Ottawa.

My AOR and MR came from Sydney, and I just checked the fedex tracking number that the doc gave me and my results got sent to Ottawa too. I think the doc gets the address from the form that you provide.

Just wanted to give out an update that I received 2nd AOR confirming that my spplication is complete and is being sent to visa office. No MR still.

To those who have completed medicals, have you payed your Right of Residency fee yet? Am I right in thinking that we can leave that right until the very end, and just pay whenever we get our residency cards?

With my brother's case, yes we included it when we submit his application to CIO through bank draft. They said that it won't help that much but probably helps a bit since they don't need to ask for it anymore.


Can I also aske someone to post sample AOR they received from CIO. I just emailed them to update my email address since they have it wrong based on letter sent to my brother but i doubt that they'll send new copy of AOR since they already forwarded my brother's application to visa office and requested medical already. I'm just curious what's written on it though. Thanks in advance.

Can someone post cost of getting medicals done per applicant? Does a 2 year old need to do it as well?

My timeline already shows it! CIC received my application on the 10th of September and I received my MR on the 8th of November!

Do all the in Canada medical reports get sent to Ottawa Regional Medical Office, 219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor, Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1 by your DMP?

Got my medicals done in Pune, India. It took about 4 hours for 3 of us because the hospital was doing medicals for other countries (UK, New Zealand, Australia etc.) as well so there was a big rush of people.

We went through following tests -

Chest x-ray
Blood sample
Urine sample
Vision check
Physical check

My two year old had to go through physical and vision check only.

The cost was Rs. 3100 per person and Rs 1500 for the child.

Hope this info helps other people doing medicals in India.

At the end of everything, the reception lady gave me photocopies of our forms and asked us to submit them to relevant authority. She was not able to provide me details regarding which specific authority I need to submit those photocopies. Can some one let me know? She said our results will be couriered to VO in 4 days.

Can you guys make a Google spreadsheet like the October 2012 applicants? Its so helpful for tracking.

I am also an Oct applicant but I have made a spreadsheet (has a tab for sept applicants) for my own reference. In case you want to see it you find it at the following link. I do not follow the Sept applicants thread very actively so there may be delays in the update of the Sept applicants tab.

I am new to the thread , actually I am ontario PNP ,I have sent My PR to CIO in nova scotia few weeks ago,but then realized that I should send certified true copies of the marriage contract and the family book while i sent only a translated copy ,so is it ok to resend the correct document now to CIO ?please advise

Hi all.

I see some applicants getting MR a few days after AOR while others not getting the MR only AOR. Why is that?

If the applicant is not in Canada (ie visa office is outside Canad), who sends the Medicdal request? CIO or the respective visa office?
