Nothing so far.....I am relieved to hear that there are some others waiting like me....

meanwhile November applicants are receiving PPR...don't know whats wrong with my case...

I got the magic mail (PPR) yesterday.

I have a few questions for those who got their PR visas stamped.

What is the validity of the PR visa and COPR? How much time they give you for landing?

I also have a problem. My spouse is in Pakistan and according to the laws in Pakistan it is illegal to mail the passport out of the country. I would appreciate any ideas in regards to solving this issue as CIC has asked to send passports for all applicants together.

Paid my RPRF in April to London, no word yet. I think we just have to sit tight for a while until they get their way with this strike

Alert – Strike Action
The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.
