Ya my lawyer paid it when I submitted my application

Then don't worry at all. It depends on an officer who was accessing your application. He/She could have mailed out a letter requesting your passeport or sent out an email already but they can set up at specific time on their outgoing messages and you would recieve that email when the times up. Lets say, if they sent out an email regarding your passport request and have the delivery time or date set to tomorrow or something then you would receive it by then.
Get a good night sleep.
Hope I get my passport request soon.

Hi CANMAPLE,

As you advised, I sent then an email and they reply that they sent a letter on Monday via regular mail.i can't stop thinking about it so request to send it to my email address so hopefully I'll get an email tomorrow with a letter!!!!!

You are more than likely going to recieve a passport request. and there is no grounds for refusal. If there was any, you would not have been able to get to this stage. Just sit tight, you will recieve your passport request sometime before the weekend, gives you something extra to celebrate for.
and ya, I know how canadian immigration system kinda works, been dealing all my applications since I was 17 so ya. There has been a ten day period between your status update and mine. Hopefully, I will hear something before the 25 th of March.

Good luck to you

October applicants,

My medical results were received in Ottawa on 13 Feb. It's been one month and ECAS status has not yet been updated. Should I be concerned?
Mizra, if its comforting you, my medicals were received on Dec 18th and the ECAS is still not updated. I think it's normal for it to take about 2 months.
I'm just curious: did your doctor use eMedicals? Or mailed paper forms?

It can take 2 weeks to 4 months, I have seen such cases.

Hey Guys,

Just checked my eCAS status and it shows "Decision made"

Decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

What that means????? Is it good sign?????

Thanks,
Kamya

Kamya, congratulations, keep us updated! That's awesome! :P

However, I am also wondering, doesn't that seem unusually fast? I am surprised because the CIC website says average processing time is 13 months for CPP-Ottawa PNP applications.

Also, I am wondering how and when to pay the RPRF. I don't have a lawyer so I am not sure how it works. Will CIC request this fee first, then the PPR? Or should we somehow pay the RPRF on our own?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Hi Leebee,

Thanks! Hopefully it's good news!

I don't know. I just renew my visa in Dec,2012 and it is valid until june,2013. That might be the reason? I don't know, just waiting so badly to get that letter.

Thanks,
Kamya!

Thanks lilotia. My doctor used paper forms I think since I got fedex tracking number from him.

Were your submitted on paper as well?

Well I think I should be patient and wait then...I was just concerned because some other applicants had their status updated as early as 2 weeks..

No worries Kamya
My ecas status went in process on Feb 24, ten or eleven days after your and medical recieved update was done on Feb 22, 10 days after yours and I hope I get my PPR soon too.
Honestly, I have not been out of canada not even for a single day ever since I turned 18 and I dont even have a single foreign doc in my application well except from my birt certificate and passport and I dont understand what is taking them so freaking long. Kinda frustrated now lol
I do have a valid visa and work permit until Aug 2015 so I am not worried that way but I kinda wanna be done with this whole PR process

Do we need to include Bank Statement of Account when submitting application to CIO Nova Scotia after obtaining Nomination from PNP? I'm asking because it is not mentioned in the CIC Checklist for Provincial Nominee Application. I need expert advise.
