I emailed Ottawa to inquire about the status of my PNP application and here is what I got:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our office has recieved your medicals.
Do you have an idea when abouts I be recieving my passport?
Medicals Done on Jan 2 2013
Application Submitted to CIO NS: October 29 2012
I got this email from Ottawa on Jan 30 2013

If ye could help me out, I ld really appericiate that

could you please tell me how long it takes the Medical Doctor to have the Chest X-Ray, blood and urine test results from the other medical centers/clinics?
How long do I have to wait in order to call the Medical Doctor that visited me in order to ask for the tracking number of my Medical Examinations travelling to CIO?

July applicants are getting PPR now which means 6-7 months processing time for them. Anyone can hope.

it is good to be here again with some good news, after the CIO send me email that my application was sent back to me and deemed not completed on 6 th November 2012.Since this email i did not receive any application package from them and i emialed them again on 23 jan and guess what????

They told me on feb7 that upon further review it has been decided not to be returned to you.
15 minutes later ,i got my AOR ( file number )......

Crazy people.

I received email from CIO today requesting police certificates for my and my spouse. I had no included this before since it was recommended for my country (Colombia) to wait for the visa office to request the certificates.

I called the call centre and asked some questions about the certificate process etc, and by the way they confirmed that my medicals have been received!! So happy right now ;D (even though that my ECAS is still "application received")

It looks that they are working on our files.....

You get the request from CIO and not Ottawa? I guess the pattern here is that CIO collects all required docs before passing on to Ottawa for finalization.

Yes I received the request from CIO. My visa office should be CPP, so I'm not really sure why it came from CIO.
