Hi,

In which currency would you suggest paying RPRF, CAD$490 (bank draft) or Php19,900 (manager's cheque)? Although the website says it's advisable to pay in CAD$ due to currency fluctuation. Because if I opt to pay in CAD$, the cheque's funds has to come from The Bank of Nova Scotia as the cheque that BPI(local bank in the Philippines) issues shows the name The Bank of Nova Scotia. Then the drawee is The Receiver General for Canada. Are they going to wait until it will be encashed or withdrawn from The Bank of Nova Scotia (which has no branch in Philippines) before they continue processing my application?

Where as, if I choose to pay in Php. The drawee will be the Embassy of Canada (Manila) which they can easily encash or withdraw the cheque. However, the website says that the Fee Schedule is in effect as of January 30, 2013. I will be sending my RPRF payment on 28 January 2013. What if after January 30, 2013 it increases from Php19,900 to more, and they haven't opened yet my mail containing the cheque?

1. was wondering if its gonna affect the speed of processing my application as to when they can encash or withdraw the CAD$ bank draft for RPRF.

2. I don't know If I can send them like Php20,500 or Php21,000. Which is more than the stated equivalent amount of Php19,900.

You missed national IDs from what I can see. I am not sure about work permit copies. I sent them though. Check the checklist and compare what you missed.

Rammoo

As you are from Egypt, did you send certified translated copies of all non-english document together with the originals as instructed in the checklist.

Also, in ur list above you did not mention photographs, were these included, in the required quantities and with the names and details required on the back?

Hi pangandoy,

Please be informed that the fees MUST be in Canadian Funds ONLY. Please see below link with fee payment form in pdf format. I had paid my application feed in USD and my application was returned because of that reason.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi sarayu,

Thank you for always answering our queries. Appreciate it.... :)

By the way I read on CIC's website, "If your application is received with more than the listed fee, your visa application will be delayed beyond the time stipulated.". So, it should be the exact amount.

Some Visa Offices accept local currencies of the country they are located when paying RPRF.

Thanks!

@ALL @ EVERYONE

Where should I really send the RPRF? please just needs verification of the address.....

When instructed lets say, send payment for rprf to the address located at the upper right hand corner of this message/letter.

Note: You are facing the computer screen reading the message/letter.

Question, which is the correct address to use, the one that says @ALL or the one that says " @ EVERYONE"?

I know this is simple but, it seems hard to comprehend when you are preoccupied and you don't want to make any mistake for an important thing. I don't want to send the mail to the wrong address.

Thanks!
