Tracking PNP October 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

I requested Abu Dhabi, so I am assuming that. The AOR does not mention the "name" of the visa office, it just says that the application has been forwarded to the VO. In any case it will be a VO office abroad so that's why I wanted to know if anyone outside Canada received MR or not.

@ hardworking How do u know ur VO is Abudhabi? did they tell u in the AOR?

When I (from CANADA) have applied for the PR (thru QSWP - Quebec Skilled work program on last Nov) my family was in my home country), with the same status, I have received CSQ and applied for the federal on 22nd Oct'2012. Now my family has joined me after I receive AOR from CIO.
Now my question is do I need to inform CIO or VO saying my family has joined me?
Does it impact my application?

i recieved my AOR on November 26th but till now (1 month later) no medical :-[

AOR : december 3rd , 2012 .

Did not get medical as of yet . I was wondering if there is some mistake in your forms . Do they e-mail you or send them mail ? .

I did call CIC customer service on 24th ...They were opened at that day .. I think so that they will be off on 1st january ,25 & 26 december .
For the rest of days they're open ...

Our timelines are more or less the same.

Similarly I am also waiting for the medicals.

Looking at other peoples timelines hopefully we should get it early January.

Hello,

I've received my MR almost a month ago (30-11-2012). However my application is still in Sydney, I'm not sure why it still wasn't forwarded to the visa office. Is there any processing that CIO should finish? What may be a reason of such delay? Is it a normal scenario?
