Have your medical been extended?

No they didn't extend! The just mailed it here and it arrived in 7 days. No we are waiting until Wednesday to see if we are going to get an appointment at our local office so that we don't have to drive to the border is like three times as far away.

Because of Easter we wont get any mail until Wednesday so if nothing then, we will be driving and landing on Thursday or Friday. Cannot wait to do it !!!

What can we do in case our pnp application inside CA exceeded 2 months more than processing timeline showed on cic website? Our medicals expired and we sent e-mail to find out if they extend it,but no reply in more than one month even if it's written that they will repry in 28 days.We called the MP office and they said they contacted the embassy and they are waiting to hear back from them. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing from them. Before they were good sending back reply with a standard message saying that your file is under regular processing time, but now they don't even answer.I'm tired of waiting and of this lack of communication from these guys....

Hello All,

can any one guide "what does In-Process" reflects in your status.

Hello Seniors,

I know this forum is for PNP Nov 2012, but i will like to seek your advice for my friend who just submitted his forms to CIC after he was nominated.

He was denied TRV twice to visit another province and now another province has nominated him. He stated this in his CIC form, but he is scared whether CIC may turn down his application since he was denied TRV before to another province and this was why he got a UCI.

Please any advice??????

Hi Khan,

Is your ECAS status shows "In-Process" now? It means they have started processing your application now. It will include eligibility, criminality and background checks. Once they finish all these steps, they will send you the PPR.

Good luck buddy.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

Thanks for your brief reply. Yes, now my status is changed since last month. But yet I have to receive MR. Can you advice how much time it may take approximately. I hope you are settled there successfully.
regards.

Does anyone knows how long does CIO takes to reply to emails. I emailed them to confirm whether they received my RCMP certificate or not but no reply. My purolator tracking shows that they received it on 9th may

Hi sunnysaini99,

Have you ordered for your GCMS Notes? Or have you contacted CIC to know the status of your application? What is your ECAS status showing right now?

It's very long time since you submitted your application to CIC.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi everyone,

Finally I received the PPR email with visa validity mentioned till April 2015 :). My wife's passport expires before that so I've applied for renewal to get maximum visa validity.

Now comes the time to plan things for the big move :). Would appreciate if anyone has suggestions on the following:
  • I am planning to move either in December this year (kids' school, bonus coming up, etc.) or March next year (to avoid harsh winters). March makes more sense to me as not sure if Winters will be easy to bear for new immigrant plus job search may be hard. Would appreciate suggestion in this regard
  • Can anyone point to forums where information about planning and preparations is discussed. I may have questions about things/money to take, job, housing, etc. so don't want to spam this forum :)

Thanks everyone for all the help during this journey and good luck,
Fahad
