I underwent medicals in March 2013 and submitted all docs and RPRF same month, still no word from London VO (others who were 1 month early than mine have even got PPR2). I only sent one CSE so far and in last email in October, they replied my case is in queue to be reviewed by immigration officer. My ECAS status still says "Application Received" and Medical received line is also there. London VO said max 4 months to review incoming correspondence but its been over 7 now :(. I'm worried since my status still says "Application Received" and my medical+UK police certificate expire March 2014.

Earlier we could say the delay was due to PAFSO strike, but it seems LVO is still in that strike mode - I mean since the PAFSO strike is over - how many LVO applicants from October-December 2012 have received any updates on their case?

It's really frustrating...

Hi all,
Really frustrating.
Got my gcms notes today. It is assigned to an officer and the due date is December 8. Everything the same except they added my spouse to the app. Again security hasn't been started yet.The security code shows RC-6262 which I believe it's Sydney,NS. Let's see what's gonna happen on Dec 8. Wish big luck for everyone waiting here.

Mysterious forms - please help!

Hi everyone!
haven't posted here in ages but today:
1. our medicals forms arrived (yes, it is really slow here in our VO)
2. NOT all of them arrived - my husband's have not arrived for some reason (I'm the main applicant)
3. We are being asked for an additional IMM5579 - which from wat I googled has something to do with military service and is in Spanish, not our language, as well as - YOU CAN'T FIND IT ON THE CIC WEBSITE!

Now, what do you suugest me to do??
about the missing medical form?
about the mysterious IMM5579??

Thanks!
ManjuCa

Done with the landing! So happy :D We landed at Point Roberts last Saturday, which was apparently the busiest time for the US border. 30 mins in line to leave Canada then we turned around to enter Canada. There was 1 person ahead of us, but it only took around 15 mins for the officer to process our documents.

Hi Manju,

Good to see that you have little progress after a long time. And it's strange that you are being asked for IMM 5579 which is meant for military people. I also just googled but looks like it's not for us. The best way is to ask your immigration officer by sending them an email.

I hope your husband's medical form should be arrived any time. But in my case we have received all three medical forms at a time. Just wait and see for few more days. Better you can go ahead and make a doctor appointment right away...otherwise you will have to wait for the appointment for a couple weeks some times.

Good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanks Sarayu! Yours will be over soon too :D Congrats on the newborn!

Dear Sarayu and all,
Just an update - my husband's medical form arrived 24 hours after ours. so this all OK.
Along with it arrived a request for -
1 - one more document
2 - police certifications for us
3 - RPRF payment

does it make sense? to pay the RPRF now? or should we wair for our medical tests to be accepted and approved first?
and how exactly do we pay for the RPRF?

Thanks,
ManjuCa

Dear Manju,

As per my knowledge someone can pay online only if the applicant is already inside Canada. I think you may need to send a bank cashier's check...however please research a bit on how to pay this.

Apply for your PCC right away.

I would suggest you to pay RPRF now itself so that you can save some time at later stages. Just in case if something goes wrong, you will be reimbursed this money.

I would talk to my friend on paying RPRF from out side Canada and come back to you soon.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Great Sarayu,
Thanks for your help.
I'll wait to hear what your friend had said.

Thanks,
ManjuCa
