All the best to everyone in your endeavor,

Does anyone know about the specifications for the photos that should be submitted when VO requests passports? (I am a provincial nominee) I received a letter from VO asking to submit "3 passport-sized photos for myself and each accomplanying dependant" (along with our passports).

But the link they sent me for reference is actually the specifications for TPR visa that is 35mm to 45mm.

Hi Chinkazus,

First of all congratulations to you and your family.

It's exactly the same photo specifications that you had used for the photos for the federal application (35mm x 45mm). The only reason is the photos that you submitted along with your application are more than 6 months old and that's why they are asking you again now to have a recent photos.

If you live in USA, you can go to any Walgreens store and tell them that you need photos for UK Passport. Because it's hard in any photo store to have Canada PR photos. UK passport photos and Canada PR photos have the same specifications.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Heyyy Ksoalka,

That's amazing news...Hearty Congratulations. I am very Happy for you. And thanks a lot for all your good wishes and kind words...am very happy to be here in this group.

Track sheet has been updated with your PPR date.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Congratulations Sarayu! Congrats to all batchmates who got their visas too. Been a long journey for many. As for me, life in Canada has not been easy, finding a good job is difficult, but this is just transition, when you set foot here you'll feel nothing but gratefulness because to be here is in itself a blessing. Goodluck to everyone!

I underwent medicals in March 2013 and submitted all docs and RPRF same month, still no word from London VO (others who were 1 month early than mine have even got PPR2). I only sent one CSE so far and in last email in October, they replied my case is in queue to be reviewed by immigration officer. My ECAS status still says "Application Received" and Medical received line is also there. London VO said max 4 months to review incoming correspondence but its been over 7 now :(. I'm worried since my status still says "Application Received" and my medical+UK police certificate expire March 2014.

Dont worry .. I know LVO is very slow but i hope you get attended to before your meds expire in the couple of months

Hello,
Both my spouse and I received visa to enter Canada. I have H1B will re-enter USA on automatic revalidation. But, spouse has new H1B and will need to attend visa stamping/interview. I will want to enter Canada alone first time and apply for PR. Spouse will want to enter Canada later/separately and go for H1B visa stamping as well.
Is there any difficulty to be faced by spouse trying to enter Canada later/separately then myself?
Or, do I need to accompany spouse again that time (and I will have PR card in hand then)?

What difficulty did people experience in past if done this way.

Thank you,
