I have an update from my side. I can now see "Decision Made" line in my ECAS status. Looks like the very long wait is getting over very soon. Now wait starts to see my PPR.

It took exactly one month in my case to change status from "In-Process" to "Decision Made".

Can someone please explain the requirements for the POF? I thought it was suppose to be $10,000 for principal applicant and $2,000 for each dependant? but the cic website is giving me something different. checkout the website below:

The $10,000 for principal applicant in addition to $2,000 for each dependent is for the purpose of provincial nomination. The figures quoted above is for Federal Skilled Workers. The challenge is when landing which one prevail?

It would be safe to go with that of Federal since immigration and customs officers at the airport are employees of the Federal government and not Provincial government.

GREAT NEWS!! My application now says "In process!!" (We started processing your application on October 2, 2013.) but was updated TODAY.... IM SO HAPPY!! AFTER almost 6 months of no changes from "application received"... Does anyone have any idea of the average time of waiting now before PR?? I already had meds done and paid the right of permanent resident fee..... Any information would be useful!

It takes two months for the cio in nova scotia to answer if your application is completed and accepted for processing in a visa office corresponding to your country or if it is returned for being incomplete / payment rejected. At least in my experience.
