Hi coshx,

Thanks for your reply. My GCMS were generated on May 24, 2013 and it said only medicals have been passed and the rest (eligibility, security and criminality) were not started at all. Do you think it's better to order for my GCMS again now?

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I will advise you order another GCMS notes. It's 3 months now since you got the last one. Many November applicants are already getting PPR. I strongly believe they've started working on your application.
Cheers!

Hello Ravi and Sarayu,

I also got my 2nd GCMS notes, unfortunately the same!! :( as the first one. my file went to under process on mid april and requested RPRF on June 18th. Apparently my background check takes longer..

Thanks
Is your security checks still not in progress? On the first page of gcms it says application status "in progress" and date updates may 10th 2013. Does it mean the file went in process on may 10th? I don't think file in progress necessarily mean they have started processing it.

Thanks
Karn

Guys,

New processing times updated yesterday.

CPP-Ottawa: 16 Months
New Delhi: 15 Months
Colombo: 15 Months
Singapore: 25 Months
Manila: 11 Months
Islamabad: Doesn't show any time

Hi Guys,

Please share the link where you ordered GCMS record?

Thanks!

Hello Sarayu,

Sorry for the late reply
1) Yes I paid rprf on request by cic (June 18) and not at the time of application
2) Yes I have sent them email after reading your reply to my post but still no reply
3) On last Friday I had called my areas Member of Parliament and his office told me that CIC has received a lot of files just to let every one know here that Member of Parliament are a big help when the processing times have passed their request to CIC is a very big influence, in my case they said that I have to wait till the processing times have passed and only then they will be able to ask CIC about it.
4) I will be applying for open work permit very soon now.

Thanks

Dear forum members,

I'm pnp November applicant and a silent member of this forum.

I received following letter today from London office.

Dear applicant

Your application has reached the final stage of processing. Since Pakistani law does not permit the mailing of Pakistani passports from Pakistan to other countries, we will not ask you to submit your passport to our office in London. The issuance of your permanent resident visa will be a two step process.
Step 1: Follow the instructions in this letter to submit the requested items to our office in London. Once we have reviewed them, we will send you instructions for the second step within 6 weeks.
Step 2: Do not submit your passport to our Islamabad office until you receive instructions to do so. The Islamabad office cannot issue your visa before we instruct them to do so. (If you submit your passport early, it will be returned to you without a visa.) The Islamabad office can only mail passports to addresses in Pakistan. If you will want your passports returned to an address outside of Pakistan, then this letter does not apply to you. Inform us immediately so that we can send you different instructions.

As I'm resident of uk, so what I have to do now send them copies of passport and updated chart or send them a reply that these instructions doesn't fit on me?

Regards

Hi Shahuk,

Since you are a resident of UK, I think the best way is to contact Canadian Consulate in London via email on this. Just tell them that you are living in UK right now. Hopefully they might ask you to submit your passport to their office in London. This is what I think.

Good luck buddy.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Guys,

I really wanna see who is going to break this silence this time. This is the very first time that our group is idle for about two and a half days since the group was formed. Don't know what's going on with our files.

Sarayu,

I will break the silence! Got decision made status today! As I am from a visa exempt country, I suppose the next step for me is to receive COPR. Then I will flagpole one of these weekends to do my landing.

Best of luck to everybody else waiting!

Guys second set of gcms received. Nothing has a changed. I guess the file is stuck somewhere under a pile.. Security and eligibility still not started :(

Hi greg_peq,

That's wonderful news after a long silence...:-) Wish you all the very best for your future steps.

Hi Sarayu,

Can you update my status in the tracker

Received Request for Medicals - 25th April
Medicals Done - 22nd May
ECAS Updated with Medicals Received - 8th August

Currently the status is showing as In Process and it says "We started processing your application on August 8, 2013."

Is the next stage RPRF Fees and how long does it take these days considering the strike.

Thanks
Roshan

Hi Roshan,

Good to see your progress. Track sheet has been updated. I am sorry, but no one can tell you how long it takes for you to get RPRF and PPR. Because it varies from one person to the other. Wish you speedy processing.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
