dear friends.

yesterday, on canada day, I did my landing to become a permanent resident.

since I was on vacation anyways I did it on my way back on Vancouver Intl. Airport.

There were just two people in front of me, so I didn't have to wait that long.

The officer took my COPR and asked me a couple of questions like if I was ever denied entry to the country etc.
She didn't ask for any other document.

now I just need to wait for the PR card.

cheers! and good luck to everybody else!!

Congrats! all the best for future life in Canada.

I've sent my application today to the CIO through DHL. Do you think it will delay our processing, because we made the payment of PF online using my husband credit card, i fill out out the official receipt and I put my name at "the payer information" and enclose it at the envelope, but then again I also fill out the Fee payment form checking the credit card at the number 4 question and answering sections A and B. I think i just doubled our payment? Im from the Philippines by the way.

Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks!

Hey guys,
My consultant got an email from ottawa yesterday saying that they are giving priority to applications received before Feb 2012. Application recieved after June 2012 should expect further update after august 2013. And they will be requesting an extension of the validity of the medical results to reduce the number of applicants who will be required to undertake new medical exam.

Is it like a standard reply they send to everyone or is it really happening? Im actually worried now. Did anybody else get a similar email? I mean we gotta wait for at least another 2 months for PPR. :(

Hello Karn,

Dont worry. This is an automatic message. If you send a message to ottawa inquiring what the status of your application is. you will get this message.!

Thanks

I got my Ecas changed to "decision made" on June 28th. Nothing since. Should I fire a email to CIC question? Also which email address should I send to get the fastest response? Thank you!

Hi karn,

My representative sent an email to CPP-Ottawa just yesterday requesting for my application status. I will let everybody know as soon as hear back from them. Let's see what will they say to my representative.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi,

Wait one more week and then send them a mail. Send it to OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca.

Hey Ranaway,

I emailed them, I got Decision Made on June 21, They sent me just a standard reply.

Dear Madam / Sir,

No further action is required by you at this time.

An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Regards,

Folks, I need your inputs.

My Ecas got updated to Decision Made on 26th May, got PPR on 28th May. Sent Passports to NDVO on 3rd June.

Since then there is no update. Just wanted to know if there are any other people in a similar situation as mine. It is very frustrating waiting for the passports to be returned.
