hey guys i got a sad story...............i been nominated from Sk under students category............i filed my PR application .......i got my AOR and medical request 1 week back...........now my job is slow down now,,,,,,,,,,literally no job ................my boss told me he can help me to apply for Emplye insurance(EI) for my expenses......if am in EI status would it make in prob in my PR application..........its very hard to live here without job..........please help guys...

Hii vishnu,

So sorry to hear that, but one of my friend has gone through same situation..... he was laid off from his job after his file was showing in process and he was having a bonded work permit after SINP.......So he couldn't go for new job right away even.......So he just waited for PR by sitting at home. He has to wait for 2 months, then he got his PR.
The problem with changing a job is too complicated... you have to find new employer that will give you a offer letter but he has to wait for you until you get your updated work permit that surely gonna take 2-3 months. Lets say, if you got the new job offer letter and you reported SINP, which need 1 month for processing for changing the job and then after getting that SINP letter, you applied for your workpermit for new job (atleast 2 mnths)......SO in total 3 months. If you wait for PR after medical it gonna take 3-4 months...... Its upto you........You have to go for the better option my friend...... According to me,if your employer gives you layoff, hope it never happens, then Home vacation is not a bad idea...... And my friend didn't applied for EI benefits........so i can't say anything about that... GOOD LUCK

thanks kia,peter,phillfresh and sarayu.

yes Sarayu, i sent my pp on june 11th and its was delivered on june 12th.
Did you get your gcms notes? i would suggest you to email cio directly regarding the status of your application. they definitely reply after 15-20 days. despite having representative, i emailed them twice and got reply from them. just quote all the required information like file number, uci, dob, nationality.
good luck

Hi All Thanks for this precious post about Nov tracking PNP

I have also applied in November.

My E case only shows Application Recieved. When i click on the link it shows

your application for PR received on nov-8-2012.
Medical Has been received.

It dos not shows in process even my medical has been done in march.
Anyone have any idea.

Hi Garry2008,

I think you don't need to worry anything now. I have done my medicals end of Jan and have the same status like your's in my ECAS. Can you please see the Nov Tracksheet from my signature and provide me all your details, so that I will add you to the track sheet.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello Sarayu,

Have you got your GSCM notes yet? As your file has not gone to "in process" like mine, I just want to know what is going on in our files? (almost the same timeline)

I requested GSCM notes in April 30, so far I have not recieved it. I though it was a one month process.

Thank you
