Important: Hey guys this might be useful for many of you who are about to get PPR. Mostly applicants with dependants are getting requests to fill the "Biodata" form which is meant to be attached to the PPR email but due to some mistake or error many of the applicants are not receiving that attachment these days and thats why it becomes a heck of a challenge as that form is not available online. Anyways after lot of searching and requesting people who had got this form earlier, i have just got hold of it...therefore in future if anybudy who recieves this kind of request and is unable to find the form attached, just let me know and i will send it. Thanx and enjoy !!!!!!!!!!

Congrat on PPR and good idea on the form.

Hi Vishnu,

First of all congratulations on your AOR and MR. Yes, you can send your PCCs without your visa office request you to do so. I think there should be postal address of CPP-Ottawa on your AOR. So, you can send your original PCCs to that address. Just for your records, keep a scanned copy with you.

Good luck for your medicals and the rest of process.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Just got this bad news from a friend, CIC officers are taking strike action.

i think you should wait for pcc request due to the fact that you are not sure where your criminality would be done. it could be either ottawa or cio. In my case criminality was done at cio nova scotia. so just wait.

Alert – Strike Action

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

------------------------Guessing that's causing delays !!! ----------------------

Anyone received PPR or other communication from Ottawa today ? If so this would mean Ottawa PR officers are not affected

Files processed in Canada are not affected by this immigration union strike. I believe Only files processed outside Canada like London, Delhi, Manila VO et al are affected.

Thanx a lot Kia....I am sure you are next in line. Get ready for the party !!!!!!!!!!!!

Kavy,

Are you a Pilot PNP applicant or a normal PNP?

Hey Everyone.

I called CIC today and they said that pilot applications like ours are being processed by CPP Ottawa which is different from the other larger office.

Is there anyone here under this pilot PNP program who has received their passport request and who has similar timelines as mine? My medicals were done end of Jan 2013.

I am seeing Decision Made since the last 3 weeks but no update from CPP-Ottawa

Thanks
