Now this is pretty much clear that walk off steam among the employees resulted in blockage of pprs recently.

One more reason LVO applicants will continue to wait ...

This includes some of Canada's largest and most important embassies and high commissions overseas. Affected Canadian offices abroad include: London, Paris, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Ramallah, Dublin, Hong Kong, and Canada's delegation to the European Union.

All Foreign Service immigration officers in Beijing, Shanghai, Delhi and Chandigarh have also walked off the job, which will severely reduce the pace and volume of visa and immigration processing for applicants from China and India. "

Medical ,criminality, RCMP screening and Security..
My ecas was updated to " medical received" On march 24th. After that no update so far. So I thought may be my case is like yours too. It might in progress but ecas hasn't been updated.

It Says security in process, criminality and eligibility: not started, but last updated was in Jan, our timeline is really similar!

I don't think this strike will have an impact on the applications in CPP-ottawa. But i can't say the same thing to the application in the embassies overseas. Good luck, everyone!

If it was last updated in January, it means security check was in process while the file was still with CIO. I sent the local pcc to cpp-o in feb thinking that the file was in ottawa but it was transfered to Ottawa in the end of April. That can be another reason why its still not in process. Hopefully ppr won't take too long for us.

My wife is in India and we need to submit our passports together. I need to get her passport from India and then submit our passport together.
Her passport is with Canadian embassy for Open work permit-Spouse application. I dnt know how to get it back now lol
Will c how things happen next.
