I don't think that applying for GCMS delays our application processing times. This is what we have heard many times here on this forum. Your status got updated with "In Process" just 10 days ago. I believe your case is perfectly going forward, no need to worry at all. You might get yor PPR any time now.

By the way, are you an AINP applicant? Are you already in Canada?

Hi Sarayu,

I got received mail from Request for RPRF and saying file transferred to Ottawa, my file starts in process from May 7th,
i send previously Scan receipt to Ottawa through email.
Did you hear anything or starts in process? hope this week will starts urs too.

That's good to hear from you. When did you pay your RPRF? Did you inform CPP-Ottawa that you had already paid RPRF? Hope your file has completely processed by now. Good luck to see your PPR.

Hi Sarayu,

I paid it on 21st March. I sent a copy of it to CIO and they sent me an email saying that I should send them a hard copy to include it in my file. I sent the receipt to CIO but my file was transferred before receipt was received by CIO.
I also sent an email to cost recovery email cpp-o and I assume it will be processed. In the worst case i will also send the receipt along with passports.

Hopefully You will get your update soon. I suspect two things for your case: 1. You need to update PCCs 2. CIC might be doing a background check.
These are just assumptions but you will get better idea from GCMS notes.
