Hi Sarayu,

There are three meaning I get from your representative's email. Firest, the GCMS note is taking longer then usual(up to 18 weeks); second, they are receiving lots of passport request lately; third, they believe that they will hear from CIC with your case soon(less than 18 weeks).

So I thing they think is not necessary to apply GCMS note base on recent status of CIC. Those are just my personal understand from your email. Hope that will help :)

Luckyincanada

Hi Luckyincanada,

Thanks for your concern. I have inquired with some others also and they said, in some cases we will get the GCMS notes just in 10 days after we apply. So, I have decided to apply for my GCMS notes. If I get them in 10 days or 2 weeks...at least I would know what's happening in my file.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi
My File recived in Nova scotia on 29 nov 2012, file number on 20 jan 2013, no medical just upto 10 may 2013
Visa office Australia
No medical
Current status - application recieved
Plzz tell me why its taking soo long
:(

Hi chustwinder,

That's really long time without any updates. Anyway, no need to worry...coz there are many applicants from London and New Delhi and some other Visa offices who are still waiting for their Medical Requests. I know waiting is killing, but we should wait until that time. By the way, did you try contacting CIO or any other places to know where is your file?

I have added you to the November track sheet...please let me know your complete details, so that I will update the sheet accordingly.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

I also think you can get your GCMS notes back in a month base on recent applicants. I don't know why your representatives say that kind of long. So I believe that you could be able to get your notes back soon. Cheers.

Hi Luckyincanada,

I too don't understand why they said it's gonna take so long. Anyway, I have asked them to submit request for my GCMS on behalf of me.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hello Fellow Applicants,

I want to know about the procedure of Privacy Act. I had applied under the privacy act in Canada in order to know my case processing, I requested for E files instead of Physical files?? Does it matter?
