Hello Fellow Applicants,

Going through all the experiences you guys have shared, it seems like I am the only one who is not getting any reply from CIO or CPP or NDVO. Paying RPRF makes your process faster or not?

I don't think that it makes it faster.

What does your ECAS show?

Hi Steffi,

thanx for telling buddy bt may i know when did you had your Medical test and when was your ecas updated.

Hi Kavy,

I am considering doing the medical for my wife at a paper based facility in india. It looks like eMedical is not adopted by CIC itself.. there may b some skill upgradation issue. Any thoughts? Can u pm me ur cell number.

Hi sarayu.....have u tried contacting anyone regarding the case as your update should had been until now, infact in the last week of april. Or you wanna give it some more time ?

Hi Sarayu,

I would suggest try to apply for GCMS notes. if you have any difficulty in applying for it (being out of Canada) i can help you with that.
But one more thing E-cas dosnot always reflect actual progress. your file might be in final stage just CIC guys might have missed to update your E-cas.
Hope to see update on your file soon :)

Veb

Hi Veb,

Thanks a lot for the concern buddy. I am very happy to have such a nice friends here.

I have sent an email to my representative yesterday late evening and waiting for the reply. Usually they take about 2 days to reply to the emails. I would wait for that and see what to do. I think the best way is to apply for GCMS notes...at least we will know what's happening in our case.

Yes, you are absolutely right and the ECAS may not be reflecting our file's exact status...and I am extremely HAPPY if I get my PPR all of a sudden....hahaha.

You know what, my and wife's FIRST TASK in the morning is to open ECAS and see the status...hahahaha.

Thanks again Veb.

Hi sarayu, you need not to check for your ecas ever because you have already signed up for ecas traker. I got email every time when i had any change in my ecas.
Did you call cic to confirm whether your file is with cio or cpp, i just called them and they said my file is currently with cio nova scotia. So i might take a while to get transferred to ottawa.

Hi Sarayu,

I am the biggest example in front of you in regards to updates. May be my words make you feel better, I haven't heard anything from CIO,CPP and NDVO for the past five months. I don't think my case is that complicated. Blunder I did was doing my Medical in New Delhi.

Stay positive and keep pushing it hard.

Hi,

I just feel weird that you are "in process" now but you case still with CIO??!! In a general way, you case should be transifer to CPP after you received your medical request. So why you case like that??

Hi Veb,

Just a quick question for you. Can I apply for my GCMS notes by myself? OR do I have to go through my representative to do that?

Thanks,
Sarayu.
