Hey zeabbas,

Good luck for your medicals...by the way which city and country you have scheduled it for...am just asking for curious and you don't have to disclose it.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

Hey Sarayu,

I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

So i had option to schedule it anywhere in Ontario area. I have scheduled it for tomorrow in Etobicoke area.

I just received AOR from CIO :). I was literally refreshing my inbox for the past 30 mins as I was expecting to receive it today. Please update tracking sheet (Payment realized on 7 Dec 2012). Thanks and wish everyone else good luck.

Also, can anyone clarify about the next stage and expected time? Is it AOR from VO or MR? I still need to submit my UK PCC so want to know when I should do that.

Hi MuhammadFahad,

Congratulations on your AOR... :) :) :)....

Soooo how many time did you press F5 button (refresh button) on your computer today???? ;) ;) ;) ;)

I have updated track sheet with your AOR date. The next stage would be getting your Medical Request which may takes about one to two weeks as per latest trend. Hope this is what you were looking for. I wish you a very best of luck for the rest.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Khan78,

I can understand the situation you are in now. But, if I were you, I would wait one more week. I have two reasons, one is you are an out side Canada applicant and the second one is you sent a bank draft. I believe because of these two things your case might have delayed. I don't think you can contact CIO directly without having a file number. I guess they don't have any track of your record. If they feel that your application is in-complete, they will just send it to you back. I am sorry Khan, out of our control. I wish you good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Ok, zeabbas... :) :) :) Please let us know once you are done with medicals. You can also share with the rest of Nov team if we have to take any extra care and any other suggestions as well. Good luck.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanks Sarayu. I see a number of people from October who still haven't received MR. 1-2 weeks looks true for many cases however it looks like all of them have applied from within Canada so it may be different from others. I may be wrong though.

Hi MuhammadFahad,

I was actually looking only at Nov track sheet. Our batch is getting MRs in about one week. But you may be right, it depends on each case I guess.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Most of the MR's are in canada applicants ... We outside canada applicants should wait until next month unless we are lucky and less workload at diff VO's .....

Congratulations to everybody that has received one update or the other (CC/Draft charged, AOR and MR). It is true that this thread rocks ;D ;D.

On the MR issue raised by MuhammadFahad, I suspect in-canada applicants are treated faster than outside-canada applicants, but all the same pray that we get sorted out before the May 2013 flooding by FSW to CIO and the various visa offices.

Cheers. ;) 8) ;)

I finally received my AOR (10 Jan 2013)!
