Hi Everyone,

I am delighted to know that I received AOR via e-mail this morning (9th January 2013). The e-mail also states "This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 5 Dec 2012..."

That means my bank draft was actually encashed earlier than what the bank told me.

Wish everyone best of luck! :)
Congrats

@tam_ngo ... I dont think we need to wait further because CIO will send your files to the VO you have selected .. I dont think they will send your files to another VO you didnt choose ... I may be wrong tho

I worked on my application right after Buffalo VO closed down, and when I looked on the visa office list, I didn't see CPP-O on the list (due to late update on CIC's website, it only appeared on the list after CIC changed the interface of their website recently). So I put Singapore VO (responsible for my country of origin), now I know CPP-O is responsible for applications sent from North America. I just hoping CIO will transfer me to CPP-O in stead of sending it all the way to Singapore, cuz I'm already living in Canada for 3 years.

i have a question. in my bank statement it says 'canada immigration fsw' ?

shouldn't it be pnp instead of fsw?

i'm worried now that they might have put me into the fsw stream??

congrats buddy, it seems as its taking longer for November applicants as compared to Oct applicants as most of them received AOR in Avg 50 days, whereas here the avg is 60+.

Hi Khan78,

Yes, you may be correct....we need to consider holidays season. Because of that we were pushed for about 10+ days...I hope finally everything goes fine.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I have a question. In the generic form, I put "Canada" as the immigration office requested for processing the application. Does it mean that my application will be sent to CPP-O?

Hi polaris star,

In my case it was written CPP-Ottawa as my visa office in my AINP Nomination. Just check your nomination...hope it should be there.

And, you are the next person to get AOR...just one caution for you...DO NOT delete your spam mails without looking at each and every email.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I'm not sure man, from what I have been hearing around this forum was for applicants applied from within Canada, most of files will be transfer to CPP-O. The CIO already charged you for application fee, so pretty much your application won't be returned.

To know which office will process our cases...well, I guess we have no choice other than wait until we get AOR from that Visa Office :(
