Today I have checked with my bank, they told me draft is it still outstanding, its kind a making me worry.

Don't be worried, I am still hoping that your draft should get en-cashed. Because your application was received at CIO on Nov 26 and as it was holidays season, it's gonna take time. My mind says that your Draft should get en-cashed early next week...I just added 10 days to the normal time.

i was just wondering, my representative resend my application to CIO last 8th of november and it was received on the 13th of november by STEHPENSON. and i check the courier deatails again just recently and this is the message on the status section "Delivered to STEHPENSON at SHIP DOCK at SYDNEY, NS via SYDNEY, NS depot " do you think it was received by the right person and the right address? cause the reciept showed that right address which is 47-49 dorchester street, sydney, ns B1P 5Z2. please help me....

I am sorry, but I don't know the exact address where we need to send the application, because I also have a representative and they took care of everything in my case. However, I am positive about your case, because your application was submitted by your representative and I believe they sent it to the correct address. So, don't worry, hope for the best.

But please tell me how did your representative pay the fees? By Credit Card or Bank Draft? In my case, it's bank draft. I have requested my representative to know the draft status, then they inquired with bank and told me that it's en-cashed. So, just contact your representative as soon as you can.

One more thing, why was your application returned? Did you miss to add any important document?

Please see the tracking sheet once and provide me your full details, so that I will update accordingly.

thank you so much for the reply... i was just wondering about the person's address that received my mail, cause it was stated that SHIP DOCK, SYDNEY, NS. and the address that i send my application was, 47-49 dorchester street, sydney ns, and it didn't mention anything about ship dock. well, i just hope you're right being positive about my application.
actually we, were the one preparing all the papers needed for the application as well as the bank draft. we did everything here in the philippines, my representative in canada is my sister in law. when my application was returned due to lack of additional family info of my husband, CIO mailed it to my representative's address in canada. so, then we comply the missing documents here in the philippines, then send it back to my representative in canada, and then she was the one who send it back to CIO.

by the way, is the sticker very important? cause we had our sticker during the first mail, but when CIO returned the application, they didn't give us any sticker, so my representative mail back my applications to CIO w/o any sticker. would it be a big deal? will they not give any priority cause we didn't have any sticker on the application?

I just want to comment on the sticker issue. I submitted my application twice (first and resubmission) and both the time I never attached any sticker. It's just an identification, not a mandatory thing (from my experience). My Card was charged last Dec 12th. So you can make a conclusion that applications without sticker would also be fine in CIC's view.

it seems as if CIC is processing slowly after holiday season. getting worried as almost 57 days has passed and no news, if God forbid my application is returned then do they inform through email as well. moreover the application is returned through normal mail service or through courier as it can misplace in case of normal mail service. any advice from any corner?

I am little worried as your application was received on Nov 8th and you have no update as of now. I don't remember if I asked you this, did you inquire with your bank to know the status of your draft?

Unfortunately, if CIO your application, they do not inform you via email. They will send it to you or to your representative (if you have a representative) in a regular post but not the speed post or registered post. It will take at least 15 days for us to receive the package. I am sorry, but this is the fact.

I wish CIO don't return your file.

Thanks for ur prompt response, actually i submitted a draft through third party as normally it is being done in Pakistan. That party is unable to give me any info on draft so only hope is AOR or may be returned application. do u have any idea if they have rejected the application when should i receive it, as its been more then 57 days since my submission. normally it takes around 20 days from canada to pak. what is ur opinion? i think they should have returned it by 8th DEC if it was not inline.
