"Medical results have been received" line added to my ECAS. Does that mean our Medicals were OK and there were no medical issues?

Not necessarily, just means they have received the results. You will know if all is well, when you get PPR. But congrats on your progress so far. We had to send RPRF, Bank Statements & Economic development plan, but no MR, this is very strange as our application is also "In Process" according to E-CAS.

Anyway all the best and hope you get PPR soon.

Earlier there was a discussion about the same and I was told that the ECAS status "Medical results have been received" indicates that our medicals have been passed...but chiefmissile is saying something different...anyway, let's hope for the best.

I believe that when 'medical received' line is added, the medical has been passed. This is from personal experience and experiences of others on d forum. If medical is furthered (request for further tests), the line is not added until all is clear.

Fahad can take this as all is clear concerning medicals.

@pareyles. Thanks buddy. Once medical received is updated it means you are good to go. After medical received line it takes between 2weeks to 2months for most people. This is a personal opinion based on people's experience on the forum. It is worthy to note that once you get your medical request, ensure you follow up with the hospital and be sure they submit it to the appropriate body. This will reduce the timeline. I did medicals on jan 18, 2013, it didn't get to RMO until feb 18. I got my PPR april 18. Exactly 2months after they got it. On the ppr is states my visa expires feb 18, 2014.

Mine reports the same date. It's probably the last time the webmaster updated the page, but it is not connected to our status updates.

Hello All,
The date in question on the bottom of our E-cas page has nothing to do with our status ... What the date stands for is the date the webpage was updated or modified or a layout/design was changed so pls disregard .... talking from a web developer stand point..


If you are curious have a look at all the pages on the CIC website you will see a different dates postmarked on the bottom right hand corner .
Nothing to worry about .. :-* :'( :-[

Guys, I checked October's track sheet and it seems like no one has got any PPR since March 27th. However, our group has gotten PPRs in April. I find it weird, but good for us.

Actually almost all the October applicants got their PPRs...but the thing is track sheet has NOT been updated...you may take a look at a couple pages on October, then you will realize.
