Finally received my passport back from Ottawa..will flag pole on saturday it took almost 3 weeks after it was received...so in total a month if i add postal services...

It was so simple ..I drove down to US border & told the US broder official that i'm flagpoling for landed immigrant status in Canada. CBP Officer directed me towards US immigration office & told me to park the car and go into line A. It hardly took 2 minutes inside ..the officer said my I-94 is valid so he gave me a white paper & wrote 'FLAGPOLE' on that didn't mentioned any other detais. I made a U-turn back to Canadian side at Blaine City centre & ended upon Canadian side & told the officer that i'm doing landing for PR today so again same procedure he told me to park the car and go into Line B. CBSA officer inside the Canadian customs building just asked for updated adress and told me to sign COPR both copies & check for any mistake and then asked me to have a seat. I sat for like 10 minutes he called me & handed me over my passport with CPR Client copy attached into it plus informed me to wait about 4-6 weeks for PR card. Here we go that's all! ...I walked out smiling & said to myself that 'this fricken thing kept me waiting like crazy frm last 4 yrs'!! ;D

Landed yesterday at carway border crossing..took more than 2 hours..they were short staffed..met ppl who were waiting for 4 hours...but all in all good experience...

Congrats! When did u mail out the passport to cio? I mailed out on OCT 7 by FEdex and did not receive it yet still. Tracking number not activated. Hopefully the wait will end soon cant wait!
