Hi Samarora! Thanks!
I can only give my opinion yet its better that we ask those whose passports were returned already. I have heard some who got it in just 3 weeks, some 4 weeks. Well, in our case, i expect a prolonged return of our passports as our passports (as dependants outside Canada), will be in transit from my country to Canada, then once received by my spouse, it will soon be sent to our rep in Quebec, then to CIC and vise versa. According to our rep, ours would probably take 4-5 weeks until it gets back to my spouse in Vancouver Island. Only then can he send it back to us here in my country.
I also know someone whose passports got back to them expeditedly like less than 3weeks because they were given a deadline to enter Canada because their medical results were not extended anymore. Yeah, maybe an isolated case. So there you go.
Hope this helped. God bless you!
Dear Ciao and other mebers,
I have a question, can you please comment.
My medical was done in august 2012, and I got my ppr now, but they didnt ask me for medical redo. I ordered gcms in july 2013 and medical expiry was the aug 2013. In july they asked for new pcc and fbi, as I m from usa.
What is your opinion, have they extended my medical. If yes, usually for how long they can extend.
