i am very curious to know why my friends get there PR status in almost 3 months and its been 7 months now and my status in ECAS is still application received. They all applied under pnp, same province. If they can finish someone's paperwork in 3 months why would they keep others waiting for months and months.

My timeline is quite similar with you......my status still says Application received..I have also seen ppl who have applied in July got PPR..

BC PNP Approval: 17th April 2012 (Entry-level / Semi-skilled program)
PR Received: 15th June 2012 (To CIC-Sydney, Nova Scotia)
PR AOR + Medical Request: 7th September 2012 (From CIC-Sydney, Nova Scotia)
Medical done: 17th September 2012
Last Ecas update: 19th October 2012 "In process" "Medical results Received"
PPR: 1st February 2013 (From CPP-Ottawa)

I have the same timeline as urs...n same thing written in my status...n i think there are lots of ppl like us...the average processing time of application is 13 months so we shud not be worried...
