They still didn't change your status to medical received on the ECAS?

sort of update ... i received a letter in my mail .. they asked me for another medical test with same DMP in 90 days before decision can be made .. they also enclosed a sealed letter for doctor .. and letter was signed on 19th oct 2012.

i will be going to medical center tomorrow .. probably cic ask for additional chest x-rays. i am not sure until tomorrow will update on this and my status is still application received which is obvious that my medicals are not complete as of yet.

hay i have a suggestion for you. why dont you go to PNP official page and ask them directly. that way you will get the official answer without letting cic know.

i talked to PNP office already they suggested me send them a fax explaining everything .they also said they review theses situations case by case .there is a possibility that they will keep my nominee. but no guarantee.

Lets see what happens.

So how long did it take exactly to get your passports back?

And what have they put in it..a stamp?

Thanks gary! It took us 12 working days to get our passport back together with the CoPR. I started counting after it was delivered to Windsor. Regarding the passport, they attached an immigrant visa on it. Also there's a new option now to get the permanent residency status in Canada in CIO close to your place of residence. That means we don't have to leave Canada to re-enter at any port of entry. I hope this helps
