Got PPR. Finally. I paid my RPRF week ago, probably it helped me :)

Do you have a link to where you payed online? I'm still waiting for my passport request, so I think I'll pay my RPRF to see if it nudges my application along! :)

All,

Just wanted to share my PoE experience...

I am in Calgary, Alberta, so I drove to Carway PoE. Then passed to the US border control, they knew exactly what I was doing before I even had to say it. The officer took my passport and I drove into a small car park and entered the building, I was given a refusal to enter US (but told this was not an official refusal to enter) and passed back to the canadian border control. I went inside the building and the officer took my CoPR and asked me to sit in a waiting room for a little while. After about 15 mins I was called back and he explained the process then said congratulations on gaining permanent residency. Overall it was a really smooth process and I was back in Calgary after about 7 hours for the whole trip.

I hope everyone else that is waiting will get their PPR/CoPR soon, and has a similarly easy experience in gaining PR status.

Why I still not get my PPR :'( I am in Calgary too.

So how does CIC know you paid the fee? I don't see a place I can enter my UCI number or something else.

Thanks for the link, I just paid my RPRF now! Who did you email the receipt to? You just emailed it quoting your UCI number?

Hello everyone...I need advise from u guys.I am a Manitoba Provinicial Nominee...was nominated last year March 2012.We sent our application to CIO Novo Scotia last June 2012...due to payment issues our application wa returned and we didnt receive it because it got lost in the postal office.Because of this, MPNP Chief Officer gave us an amendment to extend our certification validity 3 more months. So we have to resubmit application to CIC...My biggest concern...Do we have to retake IELTS?Since our IELTS expired last Nov 2012.Or we dont have to,same old ielts result we submitted to MPNP will be considered?thank you.Hope u can help me

Thanks! It seems kinda crazy that they expect people to process a payment of $500 without knowing exactly who it's from!

that's not true, with your PPR they will ask you to send copy of your receipt or if you paid already you should let them know.

I am worried about this refusal of entry to US if I do the flagpole, I have holiday plans for June as I am meeting family in New York so how do you know it is not permanent refusal? was the border guy horrid? Did you tell him that you were needing to leave canada to land back as PR.

I just sent my Passport to ottawa today. and,

my online status has changed into >>> Decision Made :D

congratz on landing and ppr folks. Keep hoping for one who is still waiting.
