I havent received mine back yet; ECAS Status still says In Progress

Nothing back from CIC yet, but my ecas says 'decision made', has done for 2 weeks now. A friend applied in June and it took 3 weeks for receipt of COPR, so maybe we'll get something this week?

I just recieved an email from my lawyers saying that they have recieved my COPR and that it will be sent across to me today

Hi, I heard a lot of people saying that it will delay the process if you apply for the GCMS. Can someone who applied GCMS and received PPR to clear up my concern?

I applied for GCMS on Jan 26 (and haven't heard back about them yet) and it doesn't seem to have changed anything. Just waiting for my COPR now.

Thanks for your info. I think so. As I just checked the electronic file in GCMS form, it should be just a status report they search from their computer system.

And I am so panic that I start thinking all the possible way that will delay my application. like I have a dependent and I have applied GCMS notes and even my first name will be listed at very last alphabetically (start with X).

Although i got my GCMS also and still waiting for PPR from Ottawa, i guess PPR are just being issued randomly not according to when the application was received.
