I think you should, coz PNP is employer driven stream, and you are supposed to work for the company until you get the pr. So write an email saying you are currently working for the same company and have a valid work permit.

Me too. :'(

BTW,can anyone advise whether I should send the renewed work permit to CPP-Ottawa?
Not sure this is the reason they are holding back me and my husband application since in the GCMS notes states 'Work Permit Valid To Oct 2012-no evidence of WP renewal at time of assessment'.

Appreciate some advise.

Thanks.

and one of the things i noticed from my GCMS was the created date is 25th July 2012, even though i sent my application on 3rd july 2012. so i believe thats the cause of delay.....people who got their gcms whats your created date on gcms. mine lock in date is 3rd july 2012, and created date 25th july 2012.

Please can you explain what does that mean "created date and lock in date" ? How it causes delay ?

RECEIVED OCT 9 2012
CREATION DATE NOV 1 2012

I guess CIO needs 3 weeks to open your envelop

I think their priority is skilled worker, visa exempt national and single applicant.

Lock in date is when the file is received by the VO.
Created date is when your file is actually created/opened by the VO for review. so basically my file becomes active on 25th july not 3rd...

So you are not single applicant? But I am single applicant.

I sent a canada finger-print to cppo In December, which it does not need. Maybe that delay my case......

No, because lots of people sent one when they submitted to CIO, I thought I need one, but actually no..
