my 2 friends got docs back because of language test, even they came to canada before 1 july, problem is - they didn't prove that they came to canada before july 1st. i came in 2011 and my papers were accepted, because i showed to cic my visa stamp from last year.

That really a lesson for others to learn from.

i don't understand why your nominee letters expired, in Yukon i got a letter and can apply for pr in next 2 years, or just stay here on my 2 years work permit without pr application and go home at the end.

This does not apply if you are a temporary foreign worker in a NOC C & D occupation, and who:

•entered Canada on or before July 1, 2012, and
•are nominated by an employer under the PNP streams by July 1, 2013.

According to what CIC said, you guys seem to miss something that english exept options for those who entered canada before July 1, 2012 as only Temporary Foreign Worker

so suppose those entered canada before july 1, 2012 as visitor, student, even working holiday program need to prove english score. That's what i have heard from nominee officer and service canada.

When did u get nominee and go to Skagway?

If it was before july 1, you entered with twp before july 1

This whole english language requirement is becoming a bit confusing.......why will CIO demand for IELTS score for some on NOC A?

At Skagway I was on July 4th. I was scared, because you right it was after July 1st, but my nominee I got June 24th I think. But my open work permit I got August 15th 2011, when I first came to Canada, so in my application form i put that date, and showed my first entry.

Hey Bud ...My timelines are very similar to yours and my Ecas status is same as yours.....

I guess AINP is slow dude
