I just updated that my ecas shows "We started processing your application on Oct 2" and "Medical results have been received".

Haven't checked ecas for a few weeks since my medical .... I was told it would be 2 months by the doctor before it would change and recorded by CIC.

General questions:
I saw there are different status updates for people in/out of Canada. My e-cas shows "We received your application June 14. Medical Results have been received". They show Medicals Received for a few weeks now.

Most people show something like "We started processing your application" on some date right after medicals received. Is that only for people applying from Canada?
I'm applying from US and just wanted to know if they might take a while to start processing or they just don't show the status but are processing...

Thanks!

When did u take medical exam?

What i know about ecas is just retarded enough. Generally u dont have to put lots of meaning into ecas.

thanks

he is right, u cannot rely on ecas. everytime i try to match someones timeline with mine, it comes out to be different. Some of them get AOR with MR. Some don't.

I was expecting ecas update to medicals received by 6 weeks as i was following Bkkkk's timeline, but it got updated in just 4 weeks and on a holiday.

Like pineapple's application, one day medical received, next day "in process". But mine didn't go in process yet.

Every file is processed individual basis, some people get PR in 2 months some dont even get in 22.

So nothing helps except waiting patiently and pray that all your documents are filled in proper and required documents are submitted.

And as far as i know and gone through the forum thoroughly i have not seen anybody getting rejected after PNP nomination.

So wait & watch, people who have jobs through PNPs and wana change are in the worst scenarios possible.

All the best,

Hey guys

I just received a medical request by Email. It requires the doctor to fill up many forms, should we check the forms after the doctors fills them to make sure they're complete or should we just go with the fact that they know what they're doing?

Hello All
I have received my Ontario PNP nomination under the FSW Back Log reduction pilot. When I initially submitted the application for Ontario PNP in April -2012. I have given all Notarised supporting documents for Education and Work exp along with University Transcripts.
Now when i apply for PR to Nova Scotia do I need to submit the Supporting documents again ???
The Document Check list IMM 5690 under URL http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-application.asp
doesnt really ask to send the Supporting documents again to Nova Scotia.

Since most of you guys have well passed this stage can you please advice on this. Im aware that i need to download all the pdf forms
from mentioned ULR and fill it and Submit. My query is regarding the Supporting documents and also about documents for Partner (When i applied
for pnp they havent asked much documents for Spouse)

Valuable members please calrify.

Hi Everybody,

its a open question to all fellow members..........

is nt it that for provincial nominee applicants(from 1st july) IELTS is only required for semi or low skilled (NOC class C and D) workers, applicants under NOC class A are not required to enclose IELTS result along application to CIO,it is clearly mentioned on cic website.

It was outrageous on part of CIO that they returned my application citing reason that IELTS result is not enclosed, when my occupation falls under NOC class A

is any such other victim of CIO mistreatment exists?

Thanks

Sorry to hear that ... may i know when did you submit your application to CIO. In my case when i applied with MPNP I have submitted my IELTS however, by the time I received my LOA my IELTS has already been expired (2 years) hence i didn't include it in my CIO application and didnt bother to re-new my IELTS since my nominated occupation as per my LOA is on NOC A (2174). I am just worried that I might have the same case with you if CIO requires all applicants to submit IELTS regardless of NOC Level now. Have you tried sending them an email to appeal for your case, since it clearly states in their website that only Level C and D are required?

Sorry to hear that, well according to my calculations, english assessement are not required for anyone that has came to Canada before july 1/2012 and receive LOA before 2013. Also if you didnt use english as a language of instrustions during your education that may be a factor also.

Just my own personal knowledge.

All the best...

my 2 friends got docs back because of language test, even they came to canada before 1 july, problem is - they didn't prove that they came to canada before july 1st. i came in 2011 and my papers were accepted, because i showed to cic my visa stamp from last year.
