Agree with them. Ask AINP office to extend expiry date. i think it wont be a problem as long as ur status not changed

Hi Sarayu,
Initially provincial nomination is valid for 6 months, if application is not received in CIO within this period then you will have to get extension from your province. That happened to me. My nomination was to expire on Mar 22, 2012 and I my application was received at London High Commission on Nov 29, 2011. My method of payment was incorrect so they returned my file on Dec 06, 2011 but I never received it. When I sent email to High Commission to inquire the status of my application in May then I came to know that my file was lost 5 months ago. It was very disappointing because my nomination had been expired too. There is a form on CIC website to request extension to nomination. I applied to Alberta and got nomination extension for another six months in a week.
Sarayu if your file is not returned then you are ok otherwise you will have to get extension.

Thanks

Adnan

Hi adnanraheed,

Thanks a lot for your detailed post. CIO had returned my application on June 25 asking for some documents. I have re-submitted my application on July 12. I have a representative and they took care of everything while re-submitting my application to CIO. I wish it should go thru, but you never know what's gonna happen. Let's see, hope for the best.

Thanks again,
Sarayu.

Lucas 52, I came to know about returning of my file and reason for returning when High Commission replied to my email which I sent 5 months after submitting my file.

Hi guyz,

Got my MR today. Giving out details on how to

Mentions 10months of standard processing time. And I should contact the VO after
120days if I don't hear anything from them, 120 days from the time the MR request from VO not the initial date of submitting the application.

Gona get my MR done within next week. And sleep over it and wake up after 10months to see the progress.

My work permit that I got through PNP expires in may next year, so hoping to get an answer before that if not then yes I'm gna b in trouble not having a work permit and file still in process.

Whoever is waiting for AORs be patient guys you will get them as long as your files have been received by NS.

Regards

Congratulations!

Are you kidding me? 10 months processing AFTER MR request!

I check every hour this forum and my email and I have received nothing yet!

If that's the case I'll be having anxiety and health problems by the time my application is finalized!

Goodness sake

We almost have the same timeline. Hopefully we'll get our ppr soon. I'm in BC by the way.

Heyyy stone8198,

Congratulation my friend...one more step ahead...am very happy for you....myself, lucas52, chatdips are eagerly waiting for the AORs...I have heard from this forum that most of the CIO employees returned back to work after summer vacation...hopefully we will hear something back soon...

all the very best for further processing.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

This is the same email i received. They also mentioned that if your spouse or any dependent is living out of Canada than it might take more time to process your application.
