CONGRATS BROTHA.... :D :D :D SO HAPPY MAN..FINALY YOU BROKE THE SILENCE

Got my CoPR yesterday, planning to do the landing over the weekend @carpark.

The dates on CoPR says July 4th, so I guess CIC is just doing double/triple checks before sending it out.. or maybe they just forgot it.

anyway, it is a huge relief, now it feels that my life is in my own hands again. :o

Congrats calgarians,

I should have waited to do my landing and went all together loooool. so i landed yestarday at carway. the whole process took me exactly 35 minutes. the officer was angry that i came to do my landing, and he told me y u didnt go to the local office, i told him i called them and the waiting time is 6 weeks, and i will be in up north in fort mcmurray. anyways he wasnt happy :D, the other officer did the landing for me, she asked me to write my address and phone number, she took my passport,WP, and the CoPR. she called me in after 10 minutes and i was on my way

border is open until 11 pm
let me know if u have any questions

Hrik,

Don't worry, it will come soon.

it probably does not hurt to send CIC an email to ask though. Please do follow the CIC instruction and include all the information needed, otherwise they won't reply.

Below is the automated mail reply from CPP Ottawa office.

If your request requires us to access your immigration or citizenship file, we would need the following information:

1. Surname (last name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document

2. Given name(s) (first name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document

3. Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)

4. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number

5. Application number ( F#, EP#, E#, B#)

6. Type of application (Family Sponsorship, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee, Quebec Skilled Worker)

Please include your application number and the purpose of your email in the title.

After all this long way, no one can blame you for not having much patience left.. :)

I would have done the same, but I have a little boy, need a bit more careful planning. Anyway, I will take the opportunity to visit either Waterton or Write on Stone provincial park to make the trip more rewarding..

Well, to be honest I don't know....Could be tomorrow ..could be after six months...looking at junk of people waiting from November and December, it seems the wait could be longer, but I wish everyone good luck to get their remaining procedure done quickly. I guess CIC must be prioritizing March-June 2012 applicants now, Only time will tell dear. Lets hope for the best !

Good luck !

I hear what your saying, but why would so many of this jan batch get moved along so quick and then they revert back to older applications.

The mind boggles!

Folks, just wanna report that my family had done immigration landing on Saturday (Aug 10) at Carway.

Got there pretty late as kids have already pre-booked some other activities. So the immigration officer was not very happy. Apparantly, they need to give priority to the travellers over us. Luckily there was no one in the queue, so they were able to process our case.

They did not really ask anything, only asked how long we have been in Canada, and have we commit any crime? then we were told to wait in the waiting room, and after about 30 minutes, it was all set.

The immigration officer did not really tell us anything like what we need to do after landing.. I guess I will start with new SIN card at Service Canada and then new Health Card/driver's license.. Anything else that I need to worry about?
