Guys, for people who are applying from within Canada, what's the process exactly?

My application is in process, I assume that will change to decision made, but if I'm in Canada what will they do with the passport and what landing means in this case?

Its been exact 2 months since my file has gone in process. No news yet ....

:-\ :-\ :-\

Its been 45 days since my application went In Process, I am very confused as not sure how long CIC would take to make a decision, the wait is Killer, I was done with my medicals way back in February and had submitted my PCC for a month and half before...I am very nervous as Most likely i will have to make a trip back home in November but not being able to understand CIC's working methodology.

Then I recieved email for Medical examination lasty July 31..It was noted to accomplish first Payment of the Right Permanent Residence Fees. There should be some news by now because usually it takes maximum of 45 days. May be they are just doing background checks which take additional one month. Just give tgem some more time, I am sure you will get good news very soon

well they take ur passport and stamp the Permanent resident visa, wen u receive ur passport back u either book an apointment at immigration in ur city or u head to the closest border with the US, u "flagpole" at the border, meaning u cross and came back in so they can complete the landing process.

I am trying not to be worried. If they say be patient then I guess we have no other choice ???

HI Guys,

I came with my family on OWP on 11th July from India & Now i got mail from that I need to send my passport for PR VISA.

I contacted Delhi, they said it will be issued from there only & file can not be transfred to other VISA office.

Now i m confused, what to do?cause i can not send my passport to India. & more worried due to PAFSO strike.

Please suggest something

You can simply authorize somebody to take your passport to India by giving her or him a authorization letter as written on last page of Indian Passport.

If you are scared of strike which is gonna effect on issuance of visa on your passport in ND visa office, than you dont have anyother choice bro.

Good luck.

Thanks

so went to do landing yestarday, it was a bad idea to go to carway crossing on a long weekend, with all those campers coming back, the officer told me the wait time is 3 hrs, and basically to come bak later cuz they r super busy, i will go again tomorrow
