Tracking PNP January 2013 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

I got my medical request in the email today morning, i am surprised seeing its sunday !, but am not complaining

Hi guys,
I am quite new to this forum and seeking your kind guidance regarding below issues:

- I have received MPNP nomintation and it is mentioned in that letter that it should be sent in original to CIC, however after filling application for CIC, it is clearly mentioned in checklist that only copy of nomination has to be submitted.

Appreciate your response as most of you already passed through this excercise.

i have submitted a copy of it as indicated by CIC guidelines.

True, by this weekend, most probably Feb guys will start getting AORs

Hi dear its about the approximate time till the visa stamp in my passport

Hi Chirag, if all goes smooth with the application ie no objections, we, the jan applicants (NDVO) can expect the visa stamped by July...max August. Fingers crossed...

ohhh such a long time but i was in a impression that it might be finish in the month of may but now god knows, I m in a hurry bcoz i want to leave the job as early as possible here anyway thanks and all the best for faster processing to u and all other guys......

I just checked with my bank and found out that the draft is still outstanding. Is this a bad sign? Are they going to return my docs? Now getting frustrated...............

Well dont get frustrated, if you have submitted all document, they will not return u r application. Like mine was return as I did not attached proper birth certificates , I have used the one issued by high commission, which they do not entertain.

Sorry for you for documents return. did u reapplied? How long CIC took to let u know that they are returning. and how long after did u received ur docs back.

My LOA is expiring 26th april and i am from bcpnp, FSW Backlog Pilot project so cant get bcpnp nomination again.

Hurray I got AOR today finally but definitely a mistake in their email system. They received the packege on 28th but on AOR they saying they received the payment on 03rd Jan ( ) I have called my bank and draft is still outstanding..... strange.

extract from AOR email below:

This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 3 Jan 2013 in the amount of 1,250.00 Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is XXXXXXXXX . Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.

Will this be an issue???????????????

Congratulations Kashif on receipt of your AOR. The dates in the email are indeed strange...The Bank draft is as good an instrument of payment as Cash is because the money is already deducted from your account while processing the draft, so no chance of it getting bounced and thus no payment issues. So CIO is sure on the fact that money will anyways come to them so they issued the AOR....Check with your bank within this week to check on the exact dates when they encashed the draft....Cheers
