no point of applying now as such.. I would suggest you to apply after 90 days of getting AOR if your status doesn't change to 'in process'.

As mentioned above by taurus. When you will get your PP back, you will have visa stamped on your PP and a letter with picture (that's COPR), both are required for landing along with other docs.

Thanks for letting me know , Arif

Finally got PPR last night....just sent out the passport....cheers.. :)

Congrats to all who already got ppr

GCMS are notes which are used by VO to take decision. It has all your information such as medical, criminality, security and eligibility. It is not mandatory to order them but one can do so in order to check his/her application status in detail. It gives more details than ecas.

It is free to order and takes upto 30 days to receive it via email.

Hope this helps.

Its not free, Its 30 CAD for each status verification (GCMS - Global Case Management System) which gives detail status of your case.

Quick question:

Do you guys think I should also send a copy of the email that they sent me for Passport request? or just passport, biodata and photographs?

Congrats Aman! Send the email copy as well, as the PPR email says so.

If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your passports through the mail, we strongly recommend that you purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet.

- Complete the mailing label on one envelope showing your mailing address in the “Deliver To” field.
- Keep a tracking number sticker from each envelope.
- Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter.

Also remember to write your application no. on the envelope letter. Good luck.

Thanks westzhu, did you already sent your passport to CPP-O?
Also you can add my timeline to the tracker spreadsheet.

No, I haven't. Since you have asked, I will explain it more in details.

My son was born in Mid July 2013 during the PNP processing.

I didn't update him to my applicaiton at that period of time because I didn't want to delay the processing.

And my case is particular. My son was born in Canada. I got his SK birth certificate and Canadian Passport in August 2013.

He doesn't need any VISA becasue he was Canadian Citizen already when he was born.

After I got the ''Decision Made'' and PPR email, I think it is the right time to add him to my application eventhough he doesn't need any VISA to entry into this country.

At this moment, I don't mind waiting for the response from CPP-O at all before I sent out our passports because I am confident I will be getting everything done by the end of this year. :D

By the way, gokeeper, your timline is added into spreadsheet!

Good luck for the rest of your journey!
