Okay, all the best on that hopefully you here something from them very soon.

Thanks Ojeola. Actually, at this point I wouldn't mind if they take a bit more to issue the PPR, as my family is supposed to travel outside of Canada in July. I've seen the horror stories of people waiting months to get their passports back...

Do you have any depends? How many countries you have been and stayed over 6 months? Thanks!

It's me, my wife and daughter. I've been only in Canada and in my home country (Brazil). It may be taking a while because there is someone there with the same name as me that has a criminal record (police told me so when I got my PCC there). But I'm only assuming that.

Cheers

But have you got any confirmation that it has been received by them ?

I only got auto reply when I sent it. Should ask them for confirmation?

Just want you to be 100% sure that it was receive by them, although COPR/PP takes time to be issue now

Hi Ojeola,

I just got my PPR. Can I apply for a new sin card after landing or do I need to wait for my pr card? What do I need to apply for a new sin card after landing?

Thanks for your reply

Congratulations on you PPR, it really great to hear some great news from YOU. Yes, you can apply for SIN card immediately after you have done your landing formalities.

I got reply from CPP-O:

We have received your passport copies and payment. Your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.

I guess it just means more waiting lol

Since you have done your medicals your application must have pass the criminality stages. If you order for GCMS you may be having much more information it but the security Clarence may be hidden on the GCMS.

All the best...
