House....! I just want to confirm if anyone who submitted his application to CIO between the 27th of August to 31st of August 2012 has either had his draft encashed or CC charged, my application was received on the 29th of August and I am still waiting for my CC to be charged...! Cheers

hi there rawalpindi.. hi everyone..

just today, my mom and I went to the bank where my bank draft was issued.. according to them, they don't have any means of knowing if my bank draft was encashed or not... once it's been forwarded to the RECEIVER GENERAL OF CANADA or to CIO, they don't have any access anymore...

i'm planning to email CIO and ask them updates regarding my application... does anyone know the email address? will this affect my application if i ask them? will it delay my application? a friend told me if i would follow it up by calling or by any means, it will delay my application... but i'm not sure if it's true...

It definitely wont affect your application, you can mail them on this email address: cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca

You can send them emails, but make sure you subject the emails as important or urgent so that it can catch there attention.
